Asana Exhibition

I took part in a small exhibition at Asana Yoga Studio in Limavady.
Darryl the organiser did a wonderful job displaying all the work.
So far I have sold Winter Flock.

Darryl put up profiles for the different artists taking part.
This got a lot of attention and sold the day before the exhibition opened tot he public.
So people at the exhibition were very surprised this was a painting and not a pencil portrait.
I really must take the glass out of the last painting above as it is a dark painting but the glass reflecting too much light.

This was a great experience for when I have my larger exhibition.

Tigers

My most recent commission for a client in town.
I used reference photos for about 80% of the piece, the tiger, the two cubs, the jungle background and the clouds all from different photos.  My friend sent me a nice picture of clouds that reminded her of the clouds in the Studio Ghibli cartoons and when I was deciding on what type of sky to do I decided to use it.
